Immediately after seeing this poster I knew I wanted to team up with some of the students from Film and TV because filming and directing is what they do and I knew we all work well as a team because we have worked together in the past. I messaged the one and only Sam Liddell and it turns out that some of the other actors had the same idea, so we all teamed up and got thinking about ideas. We had lots of the Film and TV students on our team, this is when Sam started to assign roles and Kai and Tom decided they would edit, Sam and Harriet created a script for the actors and then Amiliyah, Sam, Tom, Anya, Laura and James would direct us actors and assist us in filming and give us advice about the footage that we film. We devised a piece based on a group of people who are looking into the coronavirus and we were all asked to think of characters we'd like to play in order to aid Sam and Harriet with the script. I knew instantly that I would like to play a funny character who seems like their life is put together, wanting to beat the coronavirus. I told Sam about this idea on a zoom meeting and when the script came back, I was chuffed with the results. I filmed all of my sections the next morning and sent the to Kai to be edited. When the video was finished it was 11 minutes which is obviously not the time limit for the challenge as it was 3 and a half minutes. Tom edited this and made the film shorter in order for it to comply with the rules and the finished video was 4 and a half minutes long. I am absolutely over the moon with the results and I'm most definitely proud of my team.
I will attach both the short and long versions of the video below for you to watch. Enjoy!
