The second Christmas film I was in this year was named 'Holly, Jolly Christmas' and the director was Harriet Parvin. Sophie and I actually saw a casting notice for this film on the casting board. It had been posted that day and we messaged Harriet immediately. This short film was about two sisters, Grace and Holly. Grace was the eldest sister who was more bothered about her job than her family or Christmas. Holly was the other sister who was quite the opposite. Grace and Holly get trapped in a shop on Christmas Eve and need to rekindle their relationship in time for Christmas. We were sent the script and had to start learning it straight away as it was VERY wordy. I did struggle to learn lines in the time we were given but we got there eventually. We were given 4 call sheets for this film.
I must admit it was a lot more stressful filming this film compared to Tom's and i think the reason for that is that this film was on a much bigger scale than Toms and Harriet had a lot more that she wanted to do. However, I did enjoy performing in front of the camera once again and I think the dialogue was quite emotional. The set for Holly, Jolly Christmas was also absolutely beautiful which made performing a lot more enjoyable as I was basically an elf at this point because I was so excited for Christmas.Once again I will attach the film below :)
